Interlibrary Loan Service (ILL)

Submit a new ILL Request (Please check Madison County Public Library catalog for item first.  Interlibrary loan items are requested from libraries outside of the MCPL system and may take from two to six weeks to arrive.  Items listed in our catalog on lost or missing status may also be requested using this service.)

Items must be at least 6 months old to request them from another library.  Late fees for interlibrary loans are $.50 a day  for each day the item is late.  There is no limit on this fine and it will accrue until the item is returned. If an interlibrary loan is lost the patron will be charged whatever the lending library charges for the item.
