What do I do if I lose my receipt?  To find out when your next items are due, you may call, come in, or use My Account links on this site.  You will need your library card.

How do I get a PIN number to access my account?  Call or come to any MCPL location and speak to a librarian.  You will need your library card.

Can I return anything in the book drop?  Please DO NOT return CDs, DVDs, or audiobooks in the outside drop  (You will be responsible for any damages to these media.)

What if you're closed when I have things that can't go into the book drop?  Materials may be renewed up to 2 times in person, by phone (986-7112 or 623-6704), or by visiting the *My Account link in the right hand column (unless the items are on hold for another patron).  If you call after hours, please include you name, card number, and the items that you would like renewed in your message.

What if my card is lost or stolen?  Report lost or stolen cards to the library immediately.  A stolen library card can be misused and should be included in any police theft reports just like checkbooks and credit cards.  This will help if a stolen card is used to check out materials.

Can I have a family member pick up an item on reserve for me if I can't come in?  You may have someone else pick up your hold/ reserve item for you.  They will need to tell a staff member whose hold is being picked up.  The item will then be checked out on their account, unless you wish to provide them with your library card (Permission cannot be given over the phone).

Do you have computers with CD burners and/or USB ports for flash drives?  Both buildings have computers with these devices for this use.  The patron assumes ALL responsibility for any misuse of these devices regarding the copying of materials under legal copyright.

What programs do you have available on your computers?  Among others, our patron use computers have MS Word, Excel, Publisher, Openoffice, and multiple Internet browsers.
