Our mission is to provide the Madison County Public Library with support to make it a place that all of Madison County will use and be proud of.

To accomplish our mission, the Friends purchase special materials for each library, assist with funding for library projects, and provide volunteers for events and programs at the library. We also promote the library at every opportunity to friends, neighbors and the general public.

Our local nonprofit organization is one of the many Friends of the Library groups throughout the United States which work to help their library become a vital and visible resource for everyone in the community.
