Job Description
Purpose of Position: To maintain the popular author
lists (Popular Author Club; Popular Christian Author Club; USA Today/Today
Show/Good Morning America Book Club List.)
Qualifications:
Ability to learn and use computer programs. Demonstrate
good attention to detail. Ability to work independently.
Interest in popular literature.
Responsible to: Staff liaison
Responsibilities.
- Add and delete records.
- Check patron records.
- Place holds on the computer.
Time commitment: One hour or more a week as needed.
Benefits of Volunteering:
Training in computer skills and learning new titles and
authors.
Grounds for Termination:
Inability to perform job-related tasks proficiently,
failure to maintain confidentiality, or failure to fulfill time
commitment.
