AARP Smart Driver Course

This is a classroom course for drivers aged 50 and over. It identifies many changes that occur as we age and suggests strategies for adapting to those changes for safer driving. Taking the AARP Smart Driver Safety Course can earn you a discount on your insurance premiums for three to five years! There will be NO exams. There is a $20 materials charge for those with AARP membership cards; the materials charge for nonmembers is $25. Payments for the course should be made on the day of the course by check or money order to the AARP course instructor. 

Participants must present their AARP membership card (if they are members) and driver's license at the beginning of the course. Seating is limited.

Small snacks will be provided, but we encourage participants to bring a bagged lunch they can eat during the course.
