Peotry submission by Yvonne Deshazior

People ask why poetry; There’s no money in it.
I say because it makes me free!
Speak my language write me a poem.
Living is an on going mysterious, eventful process.
My daughter has the most beautiful smile.
I love my dog.
What did the old cat say?
Happy day poetry reading in the open air garden.
Sky blue, leaves green, sunshine yellow, speak to my soul.
This is certain, the limit the world is a lemon.
Think, when you are given a new day it will be your masterpiece.
Quite often, I wonder why the most obvious path one should take
Is as much so, the most neglected.
One can never really know what life has in store.
Do you think deeply?
Human beings: who can understand them? Who can explain them?
A poetry group with a dog member must be a great one.
Bumble bee tuna.
When the weather is this good, I wonder how beautiful life can be.
It is a lovely evening.
Jesus is my lord and savior; I thank him for saving my soul and keeping my body free
From cancer
Swiftly the wind blows the leaves
And I miss Colorado.
The dog runs quickly though the gates to freedom.
Entombed forever in the briny deep,
Falling forever in the inky blue.
I am because we are; we are because I am.
