Description: Reading Readiness Workshop is a program focused on kindergarten readiness and parent empowerment. Caitlin Murphy, a certified elementary teacher with a background in literacy instruction and dyslexia will lead this workshop. Caitlin will use resources from a reading curriculum developed by the University of Florida Literacy Institute (UFLI Foundations) and Heggerty Phonemic Awareness. 

Caregivers are required to be present during this workshop. Workshop dates are as follows:

Monday July 7, 10:00-11:30 AM at the Folk Center

Wednesday July 9, 10:00-11:30 AM at the Folk Center

Monday July 14, 10:00-11:30 AM at the Forestry Outreach Center 

Wednesday July 16, 10:00-11:30 AM at the Forestry Outreach Center

Monday July 21, 10:00-11:30 AM at the Folk Center

Wednesday July 23, 10:00-11:30 AM at the Folk Center

Monday July 28, 10:00-11:30 AM at the Forestry Outreach Center (if there is inclement weather, we will meet at the Folk Center)
