Your library card is all you need to read, watch, listen, play, and connect. Browse our collection of hundreds of thousands of books, audiobooks and magazines, in print and on the shelf at our Richmond and Berea locations, as well as in downloadable format on our Libby app. Check out popular movies and TV series on DVD and Blu-Ray. Stream movies and music through our Kanopy and Hoopla apps. Your library card also gives you access to video games, board games, ukuleles, exploration kits, and much more. There is truly something for everyone!
Click on the link below to register for a library card online. Within 2-3 days, a library staff member will review and process your application. You will also receive a welcome email introducing you to library services. Your physical card will be mailed to the address provided on your application.

Anyone who lives, works or owns property in Madison County is eligible for a library card. If you reside in another county, you can typically still get an MCPL library card! Fill out our application and we’ll take it from there.
