Author Paul Rominger will be onsite signing his book, The Battle of Richmond, Kentucky, 1862 Weather and Civil War Digest. Copies will be available for purchase. 

The Battle of Richmond, Kentucky, 1862 Weather and Civil War Digest was released by Acclaim Press last summer.  Paul Rominger is a native of Berea, Kentucky. He has a bachelor of history, masters degrees in secondary education and school administration, and a doctorate in history.  He holds a Kentucky Rank 1 teaching certificate with lifetime endorsements for school superintendency and grades 7-12 History and English.  He was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi honorary education society and Phi Delta Kappa professional education fraternity., and was certified by Kentucky Personnel Cabinet as Education Academic Program Consultant and as Historic Preservation Coordinator. Paul was in education for thirty years in middle and high school, with administrative duties. He served as Executive Director of The Battle of Richmond Association, Associate Director of Battlefield Park, Board Chair of the Richmond Pow Wow Association, President and later Secretary of the Madison County Historical Society, and as treasurer of the Madison County Civil War Round Table and the Central Kentucky World War Two Round Table.  In the Kentucky Conference of the United Methodist Church, he served as Native Advocate, as a member of the Advocacy Team and the Committee on Race Relations, and on the Bishop's Committee on Program and Arrangements. He chaired Eagle Scout boards of review in Garrard and Madison Counties for about ten years, and has received two letters of commendation from the U.S. Department of Defense for volunteer support of families of the Georgia National Guard.  Paul now lives in South Carolina.
