Explore history like you never have before! Learn about our nation's past through crafts, food, and mysteries. This week we will be learning about the butter-making process and making our own butter! 

Play board games, swap book recommendations, and explore creative projects with other teens while building real-world skills. Unplugged is your space to meet new friends, be yourself, and build confidence.

This course will assist students to safely and effectively use technology for learning, working, and accessing services. Students will learn how to operate electric devices, communicate digitally, and use online resources.

Madison County Adult Education offers free English Language Learners classes for those who want to improve their reading, speaking, and written English language skills.

We promote preschool literacy with conversation, music, movement, and picture books. Story Time ends with a 30 free play session (or occasionally preschool level craft). It may get messy—please dress appropriately! Meant for ages 3-5.

Little Artist Story Time introduces preschoolers and their caregivers to basic art ideas through two engaging picture books, a fun hands-on craft, and group sharing.

Tap into a popular late 1800's craft with a twist! Make your own yarn doll keychain that you can carry with you. All materials provided. Teen programs are intended for those aged 11-18.

Crash Course is a weekly introduction to the machines and equipment housed in the Makerspace and will include basic operations, materials selection, and even resources to start your very own project. 

Peaceful Play is designed with shy or neurodivergent children in mind, though all are welcome.

We love learning different types of literacy through reading, music, movement, and play. It may get messy; please dress appropriately! Meant for ages 0-5.

Welcome to the Madison County Public Library's Makerspace crash course. Every week we will do an introduction to the various machine and equipment housed in the Makerspace.

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday by learning about how pioneers knitted! We'll be making knitting easy to learn by using knitting tubes (toilet paper rolls, tape, yarn, scissors and popsicle sticks) to make a multi-purpose accessory. 

We provide the building blocks, and you bring the creativity!

This class includes a comprehensive review of the four main subject areas of the GED test:  Mathematical Reasoning, Reasoning Through Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science.
