Maker Lab Equipment

Berea’s Community Room offers the largest available meeting space at the Berea location. It features a kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, sink, and counter space. It includes an outside entrance that allows for easier loading and unloading. 

Rick is a Creality Ender 3 model 3D printer.  It has a build volume of 220x220x250mm.  All of our 3D printers are FDM style printers and can only be used with 1.75mm PLA filament.  We provide filament, however you are welcome to provide your own filament as long as it meets our safety requirements.

Before Maker Lab equipment can be reserved for use, you must complete the Crash Course training on the equipment.  If you have not completed the Crash Course, please refer to our program calendar to register for the next class.

**NOTE:  Prints can be left to print over night.

Our sewing machine is a Brother CS6000i sewing machine.  This machine is used for mending and production of textiles and can be used with most cotton, polyester, and acrylic fabrics.  We can provide scrap material for practicing as well as some small projects.

Our vinyl cutter is a Cricut Maker model cutter.  It can be used to cut vinyl materials creating decals and personalized clothing.  The Cricut Maker must be connected to a computer.  We can provide a laptop or you can bring your own.  The Cricut Maker uses specific web-based software that requires a Cricut account to use, accounts are free to create.

The Richmond location’s Main Floor Conference Room #136 offers meeting space appropriate for a small group.

The Richmond location’s Main Floor Conference Room #138 offers meeting space appropriate for medium to large groups.  It includes a microwave, coffee pot, and sink.

The Richmond location’s Top Floor Meeting Room #205 offers meeting space appropriate for medium to large groups.  It includes a microwave, coffee pot, and sink.
