Creative Studio Workshop
Get creative and craft with your community in the Creative Studio Workshop series!
The Creative Studio Workshop is a self-guided project learning experience, where you can work at your own pace to learn something new. We'll provide the supplies and the instructions, and every Thursday we'll have staff on hand to give you guided assistance. From sewing to 3D design, and from programming to painting, we'll have a project for everyone!
Each project runs from 4 to 7 weeks. Storage space will be provided by the library where necessary.
Event Details
Learn the art of sampling at the Creative Studio! We'll show you how to take a field recording, load it into our digital audio software, and extract out individual clips of audio from it. We'll also be able to show you how you can load the clips into a sampler, and use them as drums, virtual instruments, and much more!
If you've been to one of our field recording programs this summer, you can bring your own recording to work with, but if you haven't been able to make it, we'll have some example recordings for you to use.
