Exploration Station: Measuring Wind

How do scientists measure wind speed? In this activity, we’ll build our own anemometers using paper cups, straws, push pins, pencils with erasers, tape, and markers. Then we’ll test them and learn more about the powerful spring storms Kentucky sometimes experiences.
