Get Ready for Kindergarten
Now a 12-week program starting January 6, is offered in partnership with the National Center for Families Learning (NCFL), Get Ready for Kindergarten helps children ages 3–5 build the skills they need for a successful start to school.

Aligned with the Kentucky Early Childhood Standards, the program emphasizes practical, hands-on skills such as using tools (scissors, tweezers, pencils, forks, etc.), recognizing patterns, and solving problems in fun and engaging ways.

Each week begins with Parent Time, where caregivers meet in a separate space to learn together and work toward self-selected goals. While parents are learning, children participate in guided play.

Families then reunite for Parent and Child Together (PACT) Time, exploring themed learning stations and engaging in activities that support early learning and development together.

No preregistration is required. Incentives will be offered for attending all 12 sessions. Make-up sessions will be available if a session is missed.
