Pequeños Parlantes/Little Speakers

Pequeños Parlantes: Discovering Spanish Language & Culture is a multi-week Spanish enrichment program for children, introducing language fundamentals through interactive lessons focused on vocabulary, pronunciation, and culture. Each session highlights a different Spanish-speaking country, helping students build foundational skills while gaining appreciation for the diverse customs, traditions, and voices of the Spanish-speaking world. The sessions will be led by Colton Smith, an EKU graduate student.

Week 2 – October 22
Letters & Numbers with Puerto Rico
Letras y Números con Puerto Rico
Reinforcing the alphabet and learning to count in Spanish. Students will also dive into Puerto Rican culture and how Spanish plays a key role in identity and celebration.
